I am a momma to three littles at home, fighter pilot wife, and current homeschooling mom. There are many reasons why I decided to homeschool my kids. I won't get into that now, but instead want to share the reasons why I created this blog.
Since starting this homeschooling journey, there have been MANY failed attempts at curriculums, styles of teaching, and trying to figure out how to get through my everyday. I have learned so much, and wanted to share with you the things I have learned, and created, to help you and your family learn to love learning!
You don't need to officially be homeschooling to follow my advice. I will have great tools for younger pre-k learners before school starts, as well as summer checklists and ways to be prepared and make sure they don't forget what they learned that year. You could even use the games and activities I have throughout the year to play with your kids to make sure that they are learning, and give them the extra one on one time they need, to better understand each task. Either way, homeschooling or not, I hope to be able to help you!
There are different ways to learn, different ways to teach, and every child is different! Learning can be fun, but you need to make sure you start with the basics and make it fun... a fun way that the specific child thinks is fun. From there your child's confidence will burst and even the harder and not so fun stuff will become fun to them... because they are excited that they can easily understand and complete the task!
